Privacy policy

This notice describes privacy practices for BloodbornePort.com, an independent information site about Bloodborne community PC projects. For questions about this notice or information you have sent us, email support@bloodborneport.com.

Browsing the guide

You can read the guides without creating an account or submitting a form. Images and fonts are served with the site. We include Google Analytics, AdSense and Adsterra scripts, as described below. We do not ask for payment details or access to your game files.

Google Analytics and cookies

If you enable it in Privacy choices, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the guide. The Google tag can collect page views, session information, browser and device details, and approximate location. It uses cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and sessions. Google processes this information through its analytics service.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services for more information. Disabling analytics does not prevent you from reading our guides.

Google AdSense and advertising

We use Google AdSense code for site verification and advertising. Loading this code sends connection information to Google, which may include your IP address, browser details and the page URL. When ads are served, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Personalized ads may reflect earlier visits to this site or other websites, depending on your choices and applicable consent.

You can manage Google’s personalized advertising in My Ad Center and find participating third-party advertising opt-out options at YourAdChoices. Learn more about Google’s advertising technologies. Blocking cookies or opting out of personalization does not necessarily remove advertising.

Adsterra native advertising

If you enable Adsterra in Privacy choices, our homepage and guides load its native advertising widget, labeled Advertisement. Loading the widget connects your browser to Adsterra’s advertising infrastructure. Adsterra and its partners may process IP addresses, browser and device information, page URLs, cookies and advertising interactions to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. See Adsterra’s privacy policy for information about its processing and privacy choices. You can also manage cookies and third-party content through your browser settings.

Optional services and your saved choices

Google Analytics and Adsterra are off by default. Use Privacy choices in the footer to enable either service, reject both, or withdraw a previous choice. We store your selection, its version and the time you saved it in this browser’s local storage. Saving reloads the page so previously loaded optional scripts stop running. Other open tabs on this site also reload when that saved choice changes.

These choices apply to this browser and cover Google Analytics and Adsterra only. They do not control the Google AdSense verification and advertising code described above or replace Google advertising consent controls. Withdrawing a choice stops future loading of that optional service; it does not erase information already sent or existing cookies. Use your browser settings to clear stored cookies and site data. Clearing our saved choices leaves both optional services off on your next visit.

Technical connection data

Loading a website sends connection information to the infrastructure delivering it. This can include an IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site and may process connection and security information to deliver pages, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This technical processing is separate from Google Analytics.

When you email us

An email can contain your address, display name, message and attachments. We use the information you provide to understand and respond to your request, investigate a correction or address an attribution concern. Your email provider and ours also process the correspondence to deliver and store it. Send only the details needed for your request.

Relevant correspondence may be kept while a request is being handled and where needed to record its resolution or meet a legal obligation. You can ask about a message you sent or request its deletion using the contact above; any applicable retention requirement may affect that request.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to GitHub, PlayStation and other independent sources. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices, cookies and account features. Review that service’s notice before signing in, submitting information or downloading software. We do not control how those services handle your data.

Your questions and choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Depending on the laws that apply to you, additional rights and a right to complain to your local data protection authority may be available. Include enough context to identify your request, but do not send passwords or identity documents in an initial email.
